We are located 35 minutes drive south of Cape Reinga Lighthouse at Henderson Bay. Henderson Bay is in the extreme far north of New Zealand, on the East Coast of the Cape Reinga Peninsula. The Holiday House "494" has a large open plan living area and two double bedrooms, situated on it's own 10 acre property. You can hear the ocean from the deck. The smaller self contained 2 bedroom unit we call "Cottage 98" is on a separate 15 acre lifestyle property. It also is very handy to the beach, surf and fishing spots.

Cape Reinga is famous for it's 90 mile beach, with an endless panorama of wild ocean, surf & sanddunes. Tourists use this beach as a highway when driving to the tip of the Cape and the famous Lighthouse.

From the Cape Reinga Lighthouse watch the maelstrom as the mighty Pacific and Tasman oceans meet.
